Oooh I forgot to add this AGES ago when I saw it:

In the trailer there is all sorts of stuff, someone found out this:

the host name is "FATHER"

Looks like additional (gameplay?) footage at the end of the trailer!

Aliens arrived this morning and being an avid gamer and fan of the films I'm a little disappointed. The graphics although there is some great lighting effects are very jaggered with poor textures and screen tearing which is very obvious especially during cut scenes. The aliens animation although look quite cool in the campaign are very rough and you don't entirely feel in control of the alien in multiplayer, playing as a marine is very cool though all huddled up waiting for the onslaught as the aliens true to the films move very quickly. I've found it extremely hard and frustrating as an alien during the multiplayer.

The campaign improves as the game goes on and the presentation of the aliens atmosphere from the films is excellent with recognisable locations and awesome sound effects.

For me this isn't all I wanted an Aliens game to be and from a personal opinion you can tell it's had a rough and lengthy development. No where near as bad as Duke Nukem Forever but not what I was hoping for.

Enjoying the campaign more once you get through the opening tutorial stages. If you're a fan I'm sure you'll find much to like but still feel a bit downhearted with the final product.
